The Automated Medical Yeoman (AMY) is a urinalysis device that aims to revolutionize the way we approach active health monitoring. The Principal Investigator, Amy Johns, first received recognition for the AMY via the L’SPACE NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience (NPWEE). The NASA L'SPACE Program is a free, online, interactive experience open to undergraduate STEM students interested in pursuing a career in aerospace. With funding from NASA, the Esperance team is developing the AMY beyond the conceptual realm and into a functional device ready for spaceflight and commercialization.
Esperance is currently expanding our team with volunteer industry professionals, graduates, and undergraduates located in the United States. If you would like to volunteer to be part of history by contributing to the AMY, please apply through our applications page
